This is the right place to download production versions of Linux Air Combat or "LAC". Our software is packaged and/or compiled for various different LINUX platforms ranging from Raspberry Pi on up to monster gaming-class desktop PCs. Click "Choose Your Platform" to explore the offerings and pick the one that best matches your desktop LINUX computing environment. The file named "Lac976Review.pdf" is a 23-page, lavishly illustrated, comprehensive and instructive review of Linux Air Combat from October of 2024. Click on it to download it, then view or print it with your favorite "PDF" reader. The folder named "LacMenuLauncher" beneath "Choose Your Platform" is new as of Oct2023. From there you can download an alternative set of LAC menus for use on LINUX platforms that don't properly respond to LAC's built-in menus. The file named "lac.png" is an icon, suitable for use on a LINUX desktop, representing Linux Air Combat. If you choose to modify your LINUX menus with an entry for LAC, you will need an icon like this. IMPORTANT NEWS SINCE EARLY 2023: Some very popular desktop LINUX distros got an update in 2023 that rendered LAC's built-in menu buttons useless. The menus display all of the buttons as expected, but nothing happens when you click on them. We solved this problem with our new, optional "LacMenuLauncher" utility. Most people don't need that utility, but if LAC's menu buttons ignore all of your efforts to activate them, then you NEED it. Learn how to get and use it from our "LacMenuLauncher" forum here: https://sourceforge.net/p/linuxaircombat/discussion/lacmenulauncher/ =========================================== You can always learn the latest features in each published LAC version by consulting our online ChangeLog page here: https://askmisterwizard.com/2019/LinuxAirCombat/LinuxAirCombatChangeLog.htm
